In its inaugural year, 2006, Q Song attracted more than 900 entries from songwriters all over Queensland. Almost 800 members of the state and national music industry joined to celebrate the first Q Song Awards held at Family nightclub in October 2006. What a celebration it was. Q Song is all about uncovering Queensland's finest songwriters and also recognising songwriters who have made an outstanding contribution to Queensland Music.
Q Song is open to all unpublished songwriters across Queensland.
