HOW TO ENTER
After listening to more than 1500 entries, Queensland music industry professionals have selected the finalists in the 2007 Q Song Awards.

In announcing the finalists, Q Music Executive officer Denise Foley said the Q Song 2007 judges faced a very
difficult task in selecting the best tracks.

“The standard of songwriting across the State is just incredible,” Ms Foley said.

Winners will be announced at the 2007 Q Song Awards to be held at one of Brisbane’s finest live music venues, The Tivoli on Tuesday, August 14.

Hosted by Richard Fidler from ABC 612 and Caroline Tran from Triple J’s Home and Hosed Program, the Awards night is a celebration of Queensland Music not to be missed with performances from The Gin Club, Jackie Marshall, Tim Steward, Small Mercies, Banawurun, and Emma-Louise Lobb.

Presenters include The Grates, Butterfingers, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Boat People, with many more to be announced.

Tickets for the Awards night go on sale Tuesday, July 10th from www.qsong.com.au and will also be available from Skinny’s, Rockinghorse, Butterbeats and www.qmusic.com.au.
